Michael Kleinespel

Already at the age of 16 I wanted to become a photographer.

My parents were not all that pleased and "advised" me to finish high school. I did and after that I started to work for a small bank in my hometown.

Later I worked in corporate finance for Commerzbank.

In 2002 I turned my passion into a profession and began photographing people. I love to catch people and show who they are and how they are - maybe even how they want to be!

I trained at numerous workshops domestically and abroad, including -among others - the internationally award-winning Padraic Deasy in Ireland, Richard Mayfield and Damien Lovegrove from England.

I have participated in exhibitions at home and internationally.

Since 2013 I have been a member of the Bund professioneller Portraitfotografen (association of professional portrait photographers) and visit workshops there regularly.
